1958 Jaguar Mark VIII

markv111 farnham light In 1950 Jaguar launched the Mark VII Saloon and immediately took the world by storm with its size construction, performance and value for money. In 1956 this was upgraded to the Mark VIII setting a new standard in luxury and performance. The interior had all the famed Jaguar trademarks, acres of finest leather, superb wood veneering, and performance that allowed 5 passengers to be carried in utmost comfort at 100 miles per hour. It may seem large today but it is the most perfect of English wedding cars setting off any wedding with automotive style.
This example was laid up in 1968 and didn’t turn a wheel until 1997. Then we embarked on a 12 year restoration to bring it back to its former glory. Its very first outing was to lead the 70 car procession (in excess of £30 million worth of classic & racing cars) at the Mike Hawthorn Memorial Event in Farnham, Surrey in January 2009. Like the Cadillac a very rare car today.

1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville

car2flip The ’59 Caddy isn’t so much a car, more a cathedral!

A monument to America’s glory years of car production. It stands as the final flourish of the fifties. We can only marvel at its size and arrogant styling.

Back in the fifties America had money to burn, Military might, arrow straight freeways and Marilyn Monroe!

This car is the epitome of fifties styling. After 1959 it would be more subdued, as it would be for all manufacturers, never again would there be anything as wild as the ’59 tail fins. It is one of the most famous and instantly recognisable automotive profiles ever.
No automobile characterised the flamboyance of America in the fifties more than this car.
Like the styling or not its presence is immense and also its list of extras, remember this was 1959 and it came with: Electric windows all round, 6 way power seat, Power steering & Brakes, Air Conditioning, Self seeking and tuning radio with automatic electric aerial Automatic headlight dipping when another car approaches, Cruise Control, Central locking, Automatic trunk lock. And this one also features a unique in car record player – choose your classic records to accompany your classic journey.

1964 Aston Martin DB5

mycars073 The model forever known as “The James Bond Car”. Do we really need to say anything about this instantly recognisable classic. 60’s chic with performance and style to match any other country’s offerings at any time!

What better for the final fling of the single man. Go to church in a DB5! With prices soaring few of these cars are available for hire, catch one whilst you can!

Only 1021 were made and this example is the even rarer Vantage model. It spent a lot of its life in Australia and still bears various Olympic Games stickers. It was rebuilt in 1996 and stored in a private collection until we purchased it in 2007.
The ultimate classic car

1967 Jaguar E Type

E type Nov 07 4 Who needs Bond?
Sir William Lyons boss of Jaguar refused to let the bond film makers have E Types, reasoning that he could sell all he made so why give them 7 to destroy!
The E type launched in 1961 became the icon of the swinging sixties, its combination of sexy styling and performance, coupled with a price no other sports car manufacturer could match, granted it instant classic status and it has retained the top spot ever since. In fact as recent as March 2008, the classic Jaguar E-Type ranked first in the Daily Telegraph list of the '100 most beautiful cars' of all time.
This example is one of the Fixed Head Coupes, the original design that took the world by storm, with a reputed top speed of 150 mph. It even looks fast when it is standing still!

1989 Bentley Turbo R

DSCF0246a These cars took the luxury of the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and mated it to a turbocharged 6.75L V8 producing over 350bhp. For a car of it's size acceleration is remarkable, 60mph arriving in just 6.7sec and onto a maximum speed of 150mph. It is the ultimate in long distance travel.

Every comfort and need was considered, even a pair of kid gloves for the chauffuer if he has to change a wheel!

Painted in Royal Blue Metallic with Parchment, blue piped, hide it provides a very photogenic backdrop to your wedding pictures.
